As previously communicated, the €2.60 customs duty has been in effect since July. Additionally, the new €2 handling fee will be implemented starting November.

To be prepared for this in time, we will implement the necessary price adjustments on Wednesday, October 28.

What does this mean for you?

✅ 1. Price adjustment as of October 28

For existing products, the €2 handling fee will be automatically added to the EU prices where necessary. This depends on the shipping lines used. Products for which these costs have already been optimized will not be increased.

Important: check your current margins before Wednesday and adjust your selling prices where necessary so that you do not unexpectedly lose margin.

✅ 2. Maximum €4.60 in surcharges per shipment

We are currently configuring the SP dashboard so that you pay a maximum of one €2.60 customs duty and one €2 handling fee per shipment, even when your customer orders multiple different products.

Have these costs been incorporated into the product prices multiple times? Then the difference is automatically settled as a discount.

This applies per shipment/tracking number. For separate shipments, for example via different suppliers, this applies per shipment.

✅ 3. Special shipping lines

For certain products, suppliers use more cost-effective shipping lines. When the saving is already factored into the price, no additional automatic discount is applied.

✅ 4. Retroactive discounts

The automatic discount functionality will go live at a later date. Previous orders are also being checked, and where applicable, missing discounts will be applied.

The existing HS code grouping applies to previous orders. We will share the exact period for which we are making corrections as soon as it has been determined.

You do not need to do anything yourself for the automatic discounts. However, we advise you to check your sales prices before Wednesday.
