What does a working day look like?

Take a look at the working life of one of our account managers and find out whether you can identify with the working life of a Service Points account manager.

Morning

I start my working day between 8:00 and 8:30 am, first opening my WhatsApp to check the messages from my customers. I ensure that all chats with customers are answered and then I process any problems or matters that need to be arranged for myself on a priority basis in ClickUp (Task management system of Service Points). In the meantime, I also immediately check Slack (communication system with Chinese partners) and answer the outstanding issues and forward the first questions and problems from the customers.

When all chats have been answered, I will start my daily planning in ClickUp, where I will check my planning for the day and start (further) tackling the matters with the highest priority.

At 9:30 I have a call with the team in which we discuss the plan for the day. After the start of the day, I will continue contact with both customers and Chinese partners to resolve all current and new problems. In between, I try to complete as many tasks as possible from my daily schedule. Because the Chinese partners are only active until 1:00 PM Dutch time, I ensure that as many problems as possible are resolved in the morning.

Afternoon

In the afternoon I am more focused on completing non-client related tasks from my to-do list. These are mainly tasks surrounding the milestones and any meetings that are planned. In the meantime, I still have the necessary contact with my customers to help and support them with their questions and problems. Depending on the crowds, I choose to exercise in the afternoon or else in the evening when I have a busy day planned. I can determine this myself based on the planned tasks and priorities.

When all chats have been answered, I will start my daily planning in ClickUp, where I will check my planning for the day and start (further) tackling the matters with the highest priority.

Evening

For the evening I made sure that my to-do list was completed and that the planning for the next day was ready so that I could start the next day well and efficiently. I only have to respond to messages from customers in the evening. This is also fine for me while I am doing something fun such as eating out or exercising, where I always respond to customers in between and forward any tasks/problems to the Chinese partners or process them in ClickUp.

Tasks and responsibilities

Content Production Process (end-to-end)

  • Concepting : developing creative ideas and formats that align with our target group and marketing goals.
  • Scripting : developing scripts and topics, including frameworks and storylines.
  • Production preparation : preparing scripts and shooting logs, and preparing recordings with actors.
  • Editing : Coordinating the editing phase (carried out by editors), including managing raw and final images in a central image bank, and ensuring a tight feedback loop.
  • Media planning : determining publication times and channels, in close coordination with marketing and paid ads.
  • Posting : placing and monitoring content on all relevant channels.

Content Creation and Planning

  • Writing engaging texts for blogs, newsletters and social media posts.
  • Developing and coordinating visuals and video productions (in collaboration with designers and editors).
  • Creating SEO-proof content that ensures organic reach.
  • Maintaining the content calendar and ensuring deadlines are met.

Social Media Management

  • Actively manage and update our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and more).
  • Capitalize on current trends and viral formats to increase engagement.
  • Analyze performance and adjust where necessary.

Storytelling & Branding

  • Developing a consistent brand voice and tone of voice for all communications.
  • Strengthening our position as the exclusive dropship fulfillment partner through relevant and inspiring content.

Collaboration and Strategy

  • Intensive collaboration with the Paid Ads Specialist to deliver high-quality content for advertising campaigns.
  • Coordinating production with actors, editors and designers so that everything runs smoothly.
  • Provide ideas for new formats, campaigns, and content strategies that appeal to our target audience.

Your profile

  • Affinity with e-commerce, dropshipping or fulfillment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in content creation and coordination (experience in e-commerce is a plus).
  • Excellent writing skills in Dutch and English (German is a plus).
  • Experience with scripting, production preparation and supervising content productions.
  • Affinity with social media, storytelling and visual content.
  • Familiar with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar platforms.
  • Understanding SEO and optimizing content for search engines.
  • Proactive, creative and always up to date with the latest content and social media trends.
  • You can work independently, but you also enjoy brainstorming within a team.
  • Creative talent to develop content (copy, visuals and short videos) yourself, in close collaboration with the Ads Specialist .
