What does a working day look like?

Take a look at the working life of one of our account managers and find out whether you can identify with the working life of a Service Points account manager.

Morning

I start my working day between 8:00 and 8:30 am, first opening my WhatsApp to check the messages from my customers. I ensure that all chats with customers are answered and then I process any problems or matters that need to be arranged for myself on a priority basis in ClickUp (Task management system of Service Points). In the meantime, I also immediately check Slack (communication system with Chinese partners) and answer the outstanding issues and forward the first questions and problems from the customers.

When all chats have been answered, I will start my daily planning in ClickUp, where I will check my planning for the day and start (further) tackling the matters with the highest priority.

At 9:30 I have a call with the team in which we discuss the plan for the day. After the start of the day, I will continue contact with both customers and Chinese partners to resolve all current and new problems. In between, I try to complete as many tasks as possible from my daily schedule. Because the Chinese partners are only active until 1:00 PM Dutch time, I ensure that as many problems as possible are resolved in the morning.

Afternoon

In the afternoon I am more focused on completing non-client related tasks from my to-do list. These are mainly tasks surrounding the milestones and any meetings that are planned. In the meantime, I still have the necessary contact with my customers to help and support them with their questions and problems. Depending on the crowds, I choose to exercise in the afternoon or else in the evening when I have a busy day planned. I can determine this myself based on the planned tasks and priorities.

When all chats have been answered, I will start my daily planning in ClickUp, where I will check my planning for the day and start (further) tackling the matters with the highest priority.

Evening

For the evening I made sure that my to-do list was completed and that the planning for the next day was ready so that I could start the next day well and efficiently. I only have to respond to messages from customers in the evening. This is also fine for me while I am doing something fun such as eating out or exercising, where I always respond to customers in between and forward any tasks/problems to the Chinese partners or process them in ClickUp.

About Service Points

Service Points is a fast-growing e-commerce and supply chain platform that connects European webshops and brands with suppliers and factories in China. Through our platform, we support clients with sourcing, quotations, order processing, fulfillment, supplier communication, and resolving operational issues.

Our focus is not on offering the lowest price, but on building a reliable and scalable supply chain. This means control over supplier performance, clear KPIs, fast communication, and structural improvement.

Service Points works with a Dutch team, a local team in China, and an international network of suppliers, factories, and commercial partners.

About White Label

Within White Labels, we make our infrastructure, technology, and supply chain operations available to external partners. These partners offer our services to their customers under their own brand.

The quality of the White Label is ultimately determined by the entire chain. Partners must be well informed, end customers must be helped quickly, suppliers must perform reliably, and internal teams must collaborate effectively.

To further professionalize and grow White Label, we are looking for a single end-to-end manager: the White Label Lead.

Goal of the role

You are the central point of contact for our White Label partners and ultimately responsible for daily operations, partner satisfaction, supplier performance, and growth. Do you see something going wrong? You don't wait; you take it upon yourself, assign an owner and a deadline, and check whether the result is actually achieved.

Concrete example: a supplier in China is late for three (3) weeks in a row. You investigate the underlying cause, involve the Supplier Manager in China, agree on an improvement plan with a deadline, and check for two weeks whether the figures have actually improved.

Responsibilities

White Label end-to-end management

  • Full responsibility for the daily performance and development of White Label.
  • Determine priorities based on customer impact, revenue, risk, and urgency.
  • Turning problems into actions: who does it, and when.
  • Ensuring that agreements are implemented and followed up systematically.

Partner management

  • Primary point of contact for the White Label partners.
  • Prepare, lead, and follow up on regular partner meetings.
  • Building strong and long-lasting collaborations with our partners.

Management of White Label Support

  • Daily management of the support staff for the various White Label partners.
  • Monitor Support Performance based on response time, resolution time, quality, and open issues.

Supplier Performance

  • Monitor supplier KPIs and translate deviations into concrete improvement actions.
  • Ask further questions regarding the root cause, owner, deadline, evidence, and preventive measures.
  • Verify whether agreed improvements actually lead to better KPI results.

Cooperation with China

When a local presence is required, deploy the team in China strategically:

  • The Supplier Manager China for supplier visits, local checks, and follow-up.
  • The Factory Manager China for factory-related issues regarding capacity, quality, production, and reliability.

The local colleague carries out the investigation or visit, but you remain the owner of the problem and the final result.

Who are we looking for

  • Higher professional or university working and thinking level, with experience in managing people or operational teams.
  • Comfortable with KPIs, dashboards, and performance reviews.
  • Strong in both Dutch and English.
  • You take ownership, are decisive under pressure, and quickly distinguish between main issues and minor details.
  • You dare to hold people, colleagues, suppliers, and partners accountable for agreements.

What we offer

  • Salary: competitive, depending on experience.
  • Growth path: realistic prospect of a Head of White Label / team lead role within 12-18 months, as the unit grows.
  • Ownership from day one/week 2: a complete business unit, not partial responsibility.
  • Direct at the source: weekly contact with the management team, no layers in between.
  • 25 vacation days, work-from-home policy, travel expenses, pension, team activities.
  • International cooperation: partners in Europe, a team in China, suppliers in China.
